The staff is amazing and the facility is beautiful. I highly recommended Braemar because they truly care about their residents. There’s so many activities and events that kept my mom busy and happy. I’m so grateful that they took such good care of her there.

My husband, and his siblings are appreciative and most importantly impressed with the care that your staff provides to their mother, Maria. Maria has received care in other assisted living facilities, but by far, Braemar, has provided the best care. The entire staff manages her with competency and compassionate. I am a Registered Nurse myself, and have practiced in many diverse roles in my career so I can easily recognize exceptional care.

My mom moved into Braemar at Montebello a few months ago from another memory care facility, and it has been a true blessing. After significant concerns about her safety and hygiene at her previous home, I’m thrilled to say that Braemar has exceeded my expectations. The nursing staff is exceptional. They’re dedicated, compassionate, supportive and professional, which was clear from our very first meeting during her assessment. The caregivers are attentive, engaging my mom and the other residents with meaningful activities like music events and arts and crafts. Most importantly, they ensure she is healthy, safe, and well cared for. The food is another highlight. It’s delicious with plenty of choices to suit her preferences. The management team made the transition process smooth and stress free, showing genuine care every step of the way. Braemar At Montebello feels like my mom’s forever home, and I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for her. One other mention is my mom is assigned a caseworker who’s very helpful with her needs as well. I highly recommend Braemar!

I received a tour of the facility, and I couldn't be more impressed. Laura the administrator and Beljanny from admissions were so professional and personable. They explained everything there is to know about the facility and answered all my questions. As well, the facility was well maintained and kept very clean. It is a very inviting place, and I would definitely recommend others to go to this wonderful place and call it their home.

My mother is a resident of Braemar's Memory Care Unit, and has been for almost 6 years. I watch closely and visit often. If I see something that concerns me, I speak up. I have been very pleased with her care but, more importantly, Mom seems satisfied in her surroundings.

I wanted to wait a few months so I could accurately critique the place at every level. We were trying to find a place for my mother. My wife and I started the tour at Braemar. Danielle ( our gracious host) was amazing. She didn’t push, rush or side step any questions. She even met me in the Bronx 75 miles away to discuss my mother. We finally got her in the last week of July. She didn’t want to leave the Bronx where she lived for 95 years. We tried everything to make her go someplace safer. We didn’t want a nursing home and Braemar was the perfect solution. We knew there would be an adjustment but unsure of the outcome. Well the outcome was fantastic. She was assigned an eating table with three lovely ladies who had a lot in common. The rest is now history. She’s busy all the time and absolutely loves the staff. There were some minor bumps in the road at the beginning, but given the times we live in and the shortage of health professionals we felt confident that they always have the patrons who live there first at hand. My wife and I are on a first name basis with most of the staff. My mom loves the food and the idea of her ordering a burger if desired surely makes her day. In closing, our family feels that my mother kept her dignity, feels 10 years younger and is smiling at a time where most aren’t.
